Short version: we collect only what we need to send you seat alerts, we don't sell your data, and you can delete your account any time. This is a general template and not legal advice.

1. Who we are

SeatSnag is operated by Ezag Digital Solutions. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you use SeatSnag.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your email address, provided through our authentication provider when you sign up.
Alert preferences: the movies, theatres, experiences, seat rules, and schedule you set up so we can watch for the right seats.
Notification details: your Telegram connection if you choose to link it.
Billing information: if you subscribe to Pro, payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe does.
Basic usage and log data: standard technical information (such as request logs) used to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use your information

To run your alerts and deliver notifications by email and Telegram.
To manage your account and, for Pro, your subscription.
To respond to support requests.
To maintain, secure, and improve the service.

4. Service providers

We share limited information with the providers that make SeatSnag work: authentication (Clerk), database and hosting (Neon and Netlify), payments (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), and Telegram for the messages you opt into. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

5. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We access only the public Cineplex information needed to detect seat availability; we never see or handle your Cineplex account or payment details.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and alert information for as long as your account is active. When you delete an alert or your account, the associated data is removed, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

7. Your choices

Update or delete your alerts any time from your dashboard.
Disconnect Telegram at any time.
Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.

8. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

SeatSnag is not directed to children and is intended for adults purchasing movie tickets.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
